SSR / IPL - Acne Treatment

Why can SSR do Acne treatment?

The propionibacterium acnes (PAC) which causes the inflammatory reaction of the skin, is a kind of anaerobic bacteria which produces porphyrin (a sort of photosensitive substance) during metabolism. The special spectrum of SHR IPL Series penetrates deep into skin tissues and is absorbed by porphyrin, stimulating porphyrin to release monomorphism oxyanion which kills propionibacterium acnes effectively, as a result of which, clears acne.

Who Is Not a Good Candidate for Intense Pulsed Light Treatment?

People with tanned or naturally dark skin sometimes experience changes in skin pigmentation after IPL/SSR treatment. African-Americans and people of Greek and Italian descent, for example, may wish to discuss possible side effects with a dermatologist before opting for this procedure. Additionally, people who are taking the medication Accutane® should not have an IPL/SSR until at least six months after they stop using the drug. Pregnant women should also postpone treatment until after they give birth.

What to Expect During Treatment

Before the procedure begins, you will be given protective eyewear to protect you from the bright flashes of light. A cool gel is often applied to the treatment area, both to lubricate the handpiece and to help cool the epidermis during the treatment. Your skin care specialist will apply brief pulses of bright light to the skin through the handpiece. Depending on the size of the area being treated, the procedure may take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour.

During the IPL/SSR procedure, you will feel a warm sensation caused by the handpiece. Some patients liken the sensation to a light "snap" from a rubber band. The number of pulses you receive will depend on the size of the area being treated. Following the procedure, we will apply a cream.

Recovery Time

The recovery time from an IP/SSR skin procedure is often very short, as there is very little damage done to the skin during treatment. Depending on the skin malady you are seeking to remedy as well as your skin type, the redness that is present following the procedure may persist for a longer or shorter period. The side effects of IPL/SSR treatment dissipate within a few minutes to some hours for many patients. For some patients, however, the redness or dark spots may take a week to fade.

The most important things to remember following IPL/SSR treatment are to avoid the sun for several days and to wear plenty of sunblock for at least two weeks. Intense pulsed light therapy can give you excellent results for a year or more, but you must take care to ensure your skin is protected for the first few weeks after treatment.

Follow-Up IPL/SSR Treatments

Often, multiple IPL/SSR treatments are necessary to achieve maximum results. Especially if you are seeking to remedy multiple problems - for instance, if you are seeking to improve skin texture and reduce pigmentation - multiple treatments affecting different layers of the skin will likely be needed.

SSR / IPL – Skin Treatment

Pigmentering

Causes of pigment and freckles:
Genetic predisposition, the autosomal dominant inheritance may cause notable freckles, also because of excessive sun exposure, X-ray, and ultraviolet radiation.

Why SSR can do pigment removal?
The special spectrum of SSR penetrates deep into skin tissues; the pigmentation at shallow skin will abstract the epidermis immediately, and then the scab drops. The group of pigmentation will be broken into tiny granules, swallowed by macrophages, and removed from the body by the lymphatic system.

Treatments suggestions:
Quantity of Treatment: at least 4 treatments
The interval between each treatment: is 4 weeks

Effectiveness: Pigment and freckles will be gone. Skin will turn brighter and smoother.

Vascular teraphy

The causes of vascular:
Various causations may include inheritance, hot and cold external stimulation, vascular aging, weak elasticity, the use of poor-quality cosmetics, the plateau climate, and others.

Why SSR can do vascular therapy?
The light pyrolysis resolves the extra hemoglobin in the blood capillary and dredges the blood capillary. It can also biologically stimulate the thin and fragile blood capillary wall, stimulate cell reprocessing, and thicken and restore the blood capillary wall.

Skin rejuvenation

The causes of skin aging:
Aging, diet habits, sleeping, diseases and pressure, etc. all will cause collagen protein loss in our skin. Especially for people of After-25, they will suffer a great loss of collagen protein. The skin pore will turn rough and enlarged. Skin will be darkened and lose elasticity. As the time goes by, it will be worse.

Why SSR can be anti-aging?
The special spectrum of SSR activates the target skin, it goes through biological stimulation to activate cells, form the original collagen fiber and elastic fiber. It helps to create collagen and fasten metabolism, and micro circulation, thus resulting in the effect of aesthetic and rejuvenation of skin.

Quantity of Treatments: at least 3 treatments
The interval between each treatment: 4 weeks
Effectiveness: Skin brightening, Improving skin Texture, Improving skin obstruction.
